Evangelistic Cruzade

Dear friends and brethren, we want to challenge you to join us in another endeavour. The needs of the Northeast field grow every day and our workforce is small to embrace everything. We feel powerless in the face of so much to do. Participate with us in the project of evangelization of Extremoz when we will be giving thanks for the 10 years of building the house of prayer in this city. On this occasion we intend to perform a crusade for a week, in July this year, with events inside and outside the house of prayer. We have a team of about twelve brethren in Extremoz which may dedicate themselves during this week but it is still insufficient in face of the great need. For this reason, we want to challenge other brethren and churches to join us, so we have a team of thirty brethren strongly impacting the city of Extremoz during a week of intense work of evangelism. We will use various strategies to reach children and adults, so any help is important: staff to cook for the team, teams to evangelize door to door, children's teachers, trained personnel for social action (doctors, dentists, teachers, craft, psychologists, hairdressers etc.). We list some of the activities planned, some of them can be adapted for the benefit of the work and according to the brethren available: Training for evangelism the team that will work, presentation of the Word of God in an artistic way in schools, door to door evangelism from 3 to 5/7, I gardens of Extremoz; Holiday Bible school from 3 to 5/7 in the house of prayer; view of the Jesus film, based on the Gospel of Luke, in the Praça Presidente Café Filho, on 4/7; social action in the square and the gardens of Extremoz on 6/7. This programme will only be possible if professionals are willing to spend a day of work for the proclamation of the Gospel. Persons who are beneficiaries of social action will be exposed to the plan of Salvation. This crusade will end with an evangelistic meeting in the square and gardens of Extremoz with the participation of our churches in the region, on 7/7, at 19:00, with the screening of the film The Gospel of Jesus, with a final message following and then an invitation to come to the Sunday meeting at the house of prayer. On 8/7 we will hold a meeting of thanksgiving to God for the 10 years of our house of prayer. For brethren who come from other locations (outside Extremoz) it would be good if they arrived on the previous Saturday (30/6) and they must confirm their participation with a letter of introduction from the church of which they are members along with the registration form. We imagine investing R$6000.00 with the entire event. It is estimated for hosting the daily value of R$15.00 per person for breakfast, lunch and dinner, totalling R$105.00 for the seven days. What you contribute above this value will be used at the event or at some later to water what was planted. This value is for those who will stay and dine every day. We would not want to prevent you participating due to lack of financial resources, please contact us, because we may be able to find resources to facilitate your coming. We understand that not everyone can come, due to their responsibilities, so those who cannot come may contribute towards those who have time available, but lack financial resources for travel and lodging expenses.
